Best of the Catwalk

Ever going through the Catwalk and wish you could just click on an outfit a thousand times it's so awesome? Here is my pick of the bunch, absolute favourites strutting their stuff. 

Meet Meude. Elegant, chic and x-factor are words which come to mind. I love wigs but sometimes they can look so fake, but Meude has the perfect colour and shape. Many girls have trouble mixing LE with other items of clothing, but she has mixed the LE Tassle Necklace with the LE Tassled Bucket Bag with an amazing, vibrant Hot Buys Voile Dress. Her suite is full of class and elegance, mixed with Moroccan inspired decorations. Some rooms of her suite look as though they've come straight off of Rodeo Drive.

  

Here is Elima12. Who ever said that you couldn't be fashionable in Starcoins. This Wild Candy Valentines Tutu Skirt paired with the Basic Redwood Short Top are the stars of this outfit. Nerdy yet oh so catwalk model, I'm in love with this style. Her suite includes a more than impressive shoe collection, and the Beach Villa to ad to her sweet style. 

This doll, missNAtuSQaa, knows how to rock the winter look. I am in love with this stunning Miss Sixty Blue Eyes Coat! Where can I get my hands on one! This dolls style is something torn out of a magazine, of celebs casual-wear. They still manage to look like they spent hours on their stylings, even walking from the car to their house. Her dolls hair is so chic, changing from long and slender, to uptight and messy in a bun, either way works with this outfit.

These Are a Few of my Favourite Things

I always admire other Medolls wardrobes, forgetting that mine has some true gems in it as well! Here are a few of my most prized processions. 

Hot Buys Owl Pendant

Costing only 8 Stardollars when it was fresh in the shelves of the Starplaza, even though I am no avid Hot Buys collector I just had to have this cute little guy! By Bonjour Bisou, you can see the pendant in real life by clicking here! Many times I have been asked to sell him, and many times I say no thank you. It is such a gorgeous piece of original jewellery. 

Bow Ribbon Belt

I couldn't believe how long it took me to find this belt. Constant sifting through the Starplaza and I somehow missed it every time, until I became a Stylist and was finishing girls stylings with this belt over and over again! A lot of the belts don't seem to fit perfectly (I am some what of a perfectionist) so to find this one that goes with ANYthing was so lovely! By Decades you can still find it in the store for 54 Starcoins. 

PIP Crop Top

Another item I never realised was worth a lot! This now collectable top is one of my favourites, and has a real-life version you can see if you click here! I would love this item in real life, and if you're lucky you can still find it on Ebay. Originally available in the Starplaza for 10 Stardollars, they brought it back in Archive for a very limited time, and luckily I got my hands on one! 

Hearty Earrings

These are so simple, yet so chic. With your hair done in a pony-tail it's hard to imagine these earrings not going with anything you are wearing. Still available in the Starplaza for ONLY 2 Stardollars who could resist? They will be treasured by me forever! I also love how they are for your suite, rather than in the Beauty Parlour. It makes changing them a little bit easier.

Vamp Sunglasses

PPQ is one of the most affordable high-class shops on Stardoll. Each item looks worth a thousand dollars and these glasses are no exception. I picked them up only a few days ago for 6 Stardollars, so if you want to get your hands on them go have a look! 

We All Adore J-Law

Jennifer Lawrence, now Oscar winner, made quite the impression on the internet world. 

Her wit and charm have captured our interest, and if other wise he hadn't adored her, after seeing her Oscar win, we do! I think a lot of people will agree she is the most down-to-earth women on the red carpet, whom I think anyone could get a long with. And not to mention that DRESS! Although making her fall up the stairs to collect her Oscar, she did even manage to do that gracefully! And you can then see Hugh Jackman rushing to her aid.

He is obviously not the only man to fall head over heels for this lady. Later after the show Jack Nicholson interrupted her interview to tell her "you look like an old girlfriend".. And without flaw Jennifer has her witty comeback.

Favourite Dress Ups

Finding a good dress-up made easy

One of Stardoll's original features (back when it was called Paperdoll Heaven) was the celebrity dress ups! I love these dress ups, but some are definitely better than others. Click on the names to have a look at some of my favourites from over the years! 

Frida Kahlo
I love this dress up for more than just the clothes! Being a painter I have often used Frida Kahlo as an artist model and ispiration. Her art stands for a lot of what fashion has started to stand for as well- be yourself, show yourself for who you are- flaws and all! She often painted herself as having mannish features, a mono-brow and a moustache. This dress up doll shows off her style to the tee! Floral, bright colours and head-decorations.

Twiggy

What Stardoll player hasn't heard of Twiggy? 60's model icon, and judge on past America's Next Top Model, and now dress-up! Her clothes are very much my style, so dressing her up is not only fun, but it makes me jealous! I want a wardrobe like hers! Speaking of which, I'm sure many of you will agree you'd want a face like her to pull off that cute pixie haircut. 

Hot Buys 09

I particularly love this doll because 2009 is the year I started playing! It is really cool to go back over all the old clothes I saw around the Starplaza, back when I had no idea how valuable these items would become in the years to come! Everyone has a favourite Hot Buy item, and I think it is so awesome how Stardoll has put the entire years worth of Hot Buys in the one doll, I hope they keep doing this! 

Liz Gillies

This is one well rounded actress- Broadway, singing, voice actor, and actress on Nickelodeon, she has given her fans enough reason to love her. But to be honest, I love this doll for the clothes! With pieces from Riveria it's nice to be able to dress a doll up in those bikinis and underwear you wouldn't otherwise use on Stardoll! I always spot items of swim wear that I absolutely adore, but think 'I will never dress my doll in that!'. This dress up gives you the chance. 

Hanna Beth

This famous model and blogger's doll is awesome and so original. If you are looking for a dress-up that is slightly out of the ordinary then this is the one! Not only is this wardrobe full of lolita/emo clothes, but it comes with stickers, hair, ribbons and gloves to really make a unique outfit every time. 

Best Dressed Covergirl

I own the club .BestDressed. and once a year we have a Covergirl!

Meet 2013's winner, bu88l3s! Her style is a cool mixture between modern and vintage, chic and boho, indie and high-class. Not a lot of dolls can get away with such style. Her suite, although small, has cute and original touches I just had to show you. Starting with the Bed Header picture frame. She turned this free-gifted frame into a work of art.

Next, something not a lot of people notice, feet. One piece of jewellery can change a same-old foot into a style icon. Using the Film Theory Classics' Ankur Kangan and the simple (my personal favourite shoe EVER) Nelly Black Round Toed Pumps.

And finally, who would have thought that getting rid of that old Starpoints tree would be so fashionable. Replacing it with some shopping bags makes the wardrobe seem that much more high-class and original. Her suite was like walking into a small boutique on Rodeo Drive.

The first thing anyone sees in the Beauty Parlour is your dolls eyes. Here are some simple-yet striking ideas for your eye make up. 

Inspired by Grace Kelly

Lots of lashes! Thicker and fuller on the bottom using Black Volumizing Mascara, and lighter on top using Black Lengthening Mascara. Only natural colours of shadow such as Rosy Brown Shadow, Fusion Coral Eye Shadow, or Sunset Gold Eye Shadow. Add a flick of Black Fluid Liner to the edge of

the eyes.

Peacock
Who would think that all these colours would work together? Start with long Black Lengthening Mascara. Ad colours Midnight Eye Kohl, Moss Green Eye Pencil, Quest Eyeliner Green, Whispering Blue Shadestick and Quest Eyeshadow Brown.  

Masquerade

This is such a simple way to make your eyes the centre of attention! Black Volumizing Mascara, Shadow Eye Shadow and Gold Eyeliner.
